Nordic Game Jam 2025

The Nordic Game Jam has ran since 2006 on a volunteer basis and has continuously been one of the most anticipated game events in Denmark.

It is only possible because we have Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers, and of course Organizers who look after:

  • Planning the venue and food

  • Running online marketing with this Website and Social Media

  • Scheduling the program with speakers

  • Planning extra help with Organizers

  • Looking after the budget with Ticket Sales, Funding, and Sponsors

  • Organizing graphics and T-Shirts

  • Crafting the Theme for each Jam

  • Looking after the team as a Lead Organizer

  • Looking after the accounting as the Treasurer

The commitment to being an organizer is:

  • 2-3 hours weekly spread throughout the whole year with some extra hours ramping up before the event

  • Participating in monthly meetings, that change into bi-weekly and weekly as the Jam approaches

  • Being present for the full duration of the Jam

  • Not being paid for any of this work as this is a non for profit volunteer driven organization

The next step to become an Organizer is to attend an informational meeting where you can learn more about the impact you can create on the Game Industry in Denmark and what is needed to put a Jam together.

This meeting will be in mid-May probably on a Saturday. The meeting doesn’t come with any commitments to joining the Organizer team.
